    Experience and Levelling up

    You will also be able to gain experience points in metanet.land and level up. Currently, the max level is level 10.

    Higher-level players will be able to access more areas and craft higher tier items which in turn can be traded or used in-game.

    Tougher monsters will generally ignore low-level players and you will not be able to interact with them.

    There are also spells (when magic is released) that will require you to be a higher level.

    You start at level 0, complete a task, craft a simple item, kill a goblin, or something similar and you will earn experience points for level 1. Once you have some level 1 experience points you are regarded as a level 1 player. Your experience points will appear in your moneybutton inventory.

    To get to level 2 you will have to find the Player Trainer who will train you to level you up. You will have to use your hard-earned level 1 experience points to level up to level 2. Once you have level 2 experience points you will be regarded as a level 2 player. Fighting tough monsters, or crafting top-end items will earn you higher-level experience.

    • Spending 1000 level 1 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 2.
    • Spending 2000 level 2 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 3.
    • Spending 3000 level 3 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 4.
    • Spending 4000 level 4 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 5.
    • Spending 5000 level 5 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 6.
    • Spending 6000 level 6 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 7.
    • Spending 7000 level 7 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 8.
    • Spending 8000 level 8 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 9.
    • Spending 9000 level 9 experience points will earn you 100 experience points in level 10.

    There are different ways to use your experience points and you can even sell your experience to other players. In a way, becoming a trainer yourself.

    As you explore and progress you will also find that some items are limited to higher-level players and you will have to achieve these higher levels before you can interact with areas, items, monsters and more.
